All she needs to do is log out of iTunes and log back in with the new me.com address. However; the purchases she made with the old iTunes ID can't be transferred to the new one; that isn't something that there is a way to do. She can log out of the new and back in with the old when she needs to update the apps purchased on the old ID; but that's about the extent of it.
