A friend wants to migrate to iPad. A key thing is how he currently is managing email on his Windows laptop. He uses a thumb drive that has some Thunderbird exe app on it. He pushes his email to this drive and takes it with him on the go. He can then insert the drive into a Windows laptop and read/edit emails offline.
Considering with an iPad he'd be online most of the time, that might not be a problem. However, is there an email client that lets you download your mail to the device for reading offline?
