Since I have received no response to the below forwarded message, I can
either assume that the listers assumed it was answered, or that my question
was far too stupid for a response. So, in case neither was the case, or one
or the other, I'm trying for the second and final time. Any help would be
muchly appreciated!
I've gone both through the manual and the menus without satisfaction;

Well, I finally worked out how to answer my phone consistently and
reliably, I think!
The problem is that, though the Voiceover feature lands one on the
keyboard answering, I can't really hear it. I suppose this is a feature
gone a little wrong since, if one can't hear any screen prompts, or make
it so such is possible, then what is the point?
