I did not say it was reasonable.  I just said it was better, which it is.

With AT&T, you can now buy a bucket in the 100s of MB where before it was some 
ungodly amount PER  KB.   The PER KB charge ended up being a LOT more than the 
current bucket prices.  I did not say they were reasonable, just better than it 
was before.  I think one of the articles referenced here recently detailed it 
out.  

I would never pay the prices they charge you for data but if you need it, it 
won't be thousands of dollars, just hundreds for "normal" use.   Downloading HD 
movies over cellular is not normal use (I would not even consider it normal in 
the US at US data prices).

That must have been before the changes to the bucket prices.   Of course, the 
bucket prices may be something you have to opt-in on before you get there.  I 
don't know as I have never used them.  I have an unlocked MiFi device I bring 
with me and use it with local SIM cards with my US Contract registered iPhone 
(AT&T).
