Hi all:

I am experiencing some very weird behavior on my iPhone 6 (not 6S or Plus
or any other modifier).

First, Sometimes the touch-screen stops responding. It's not that it gets
slow - it just stops - there is no response at all. The only way to get it
to respond again (that I've found) is to lock the phone and unlock it
again. The home button and the other physical buttons are unaffected.

It can go for long periods (hours) with this not happening, but once it
starts happening, it happens repeatedly (lock/unlock, use it for a minute
or two, then it will stop again, then repeat). Sometimes lock/unlock does
not fix it at all.

Then, if I don't use it for a while, It may not happen again for a while
after I start using it again.

The other thing that happens is that sometimes (thankfully, less often),
when I am having difficulty getting the touch-screen to respond or it
becomes non-responsive (as above), the phone will act as though it was
touched in a random place (not someplace I tried) and take the action
accordingly.

Again locking and unlocking sometimes cures this and sometimes not.

Has anyone seen this? Any idea of what to do? Is this an indication that I
need a new screen/phone?

Any help is appreciated!

Thanks,

Jeff
