The only suggestion I can make is to file a bug with Apple (join the apple developer connection and use bugreport.apple.com, or just use the form here: <http://developer.apple.com/bugreporter/ bugrptform.html>) and wait for them to fix the problem. They are definitely aware of the issue but the more people who complain, the higher they will prioritize a fix.
