Hi all,

I have been trying, without luck, to set the opacity of an iframe in
Mobile Safari. And see this post:

http://groups.google.com/group/iphonewebdev/browse_thread/thread/91846b3fd9833725/2b9d339d27630341?lnk=st&q=iphone+iframe+opacity#2b9d339d27630341

For me, using divs is not an attractive option, as I'm embedding
independent apps somewhat like Facebook does. However, I'll do it if I
have to, as I absolutely need opacity. Anybody know what gives with
opacity on iframes?

Also, if you can point me to a good toolkit for helping me with using
divs as iframe substitute, that would be great. Right now I'm using
Spry's HTMLPanel widget, which is fine except that it looks like it is
throwing away everything except the body contents, including script
and stylesheet elements in head, and the onload call in the body tag.

Thanks!
