I have been thinking about a Ham Radio interface to the iTouch/iPhone to display the data and do the modulation and demodulation of the PSK31 data signal.
The interface to the LCD screen and CPU could be via Bluetooth (audio is all that is needed) or the connector. All that is needed is a audio in, audio out and the CPU/audio codec on the iPhone to do the dsp processing and decoding of the audio from the ham radio audio output. Digital output from the keyboard and digitized audio output via bluetooth/connector to mic input of the ham radio transceiver. All that the iPhone/iTouch needs to do is signal (audio ) coding (easy) and decoding (harder) as well as display text and graphics on the nice screen. Just thought I would ask. It is a pretty specialized application I know. Currently a PCs audio card is used. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "iPhoneWebDev" group.
