Have you get an eye on the code ? It just can't work … It's a div with a defined height which scroll in the overflow of the div. So if you click on the letter yes it scrolls to the letter but you can't navigate in the list scrolling with the finger. The finger navigation on Mobile safari is a body-only feature: it just can't work on this overflow div.
Moreover: it uses "position: fixed", which is a know bug (feature?): http://www.broadbandreports.com/forum/r23326959-Ways-around-positionfixed-for-mobile-Safari http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=1579984 http://www.broadbandreports.com/forum/r23326959-Ways-around-positionfixed-for-mobile-Safari Same problem here : http://www.launchpadhq.com/experiments/test1.html The only solution that i found and which works pretty nice for fixing an element in Mobile Safari is here: http://www.iphonemicrosites.com/articles/fixed-positioning-in-mobile-safari/ Feel free to start from here, and publish an awesome "fixing element" plugin for iUI ;-) Remi Le 28 janv. 2010 à 21:42, lictor4 a écrit : > http://www.jquery.wisdomplug.com/jquery-plugins/jquery-iphone-plugins/creating-the-iphone-contacts-app-with-css-and-jquery/ > is exactly what your looking for, too bad (for iUI lovers) that is > jquery, but it does exactly what your asking for(as well as js can) > > On Jan 27, 4:44 pm, Derek Williams <[email protected]> wrote: >> I was talking about the vertical strip that simple has the letters A-Z >> running vertically, these are anchors with references to locations on the >> page (or off in my case), when the letter is clicked the background scrolls >> to the top of the section for that letter.
