You might investigate: 1) GraphKit - an undocumented framework inside of XCode. Not sure if using this will get your app rejected (or not). 2) Bloomberg's iPhone/iPad app. The graphs there are phenomenally executed. Thinking they're built with Quartz and most definitely data driven.
