Hi, I'm developing an app for the iphone that requires as much screen real-estate as possible. This is why I'm using the meta tag apple- mobile-web-app-capable, to get the app to go "full screen". In doing this, I can't seem to store cookies. This is particularly annoying for the users, only because I make them log in using basic authentication. When I can't save the cookie to the browser to bypass the authentication for subsequent logins, they see the authentication box every time. In some searching around I've found some people talking about it, but no one has really indicated that it's a bug, or it's a "feature" or whatever. Has anyone come across this, and have you found an answer/workaround? Thanks!
