Hi all,

Just to confirm, summarize, and expand on some of the points listed
above:

* jQTouch and Sencha Touch will remain different products, both
maintained. I plan on posting to my blog (http://9-bits.com) a
comparison between the two shortly.
* Yes, I have been remiss in maintaining jQTouch, and I'm psyched that
we're able to sponsor Jonathan Stark to take over the direction. He's
got a lot of great ideas for Android support and more.
* We have not yet announced any commercial licensing for Sencha Touch.
Currently, in its beta, we are offering open source under the GPL. If
we do offer a commercial license, we're making it extremely high
priority to make it as accessible to single developers as possible.
* Creating a true app framework for the iPhone within the cache limits
is simply impossible. Sencha Touch is only 60kb gzipped, and it's also
very easy to optimize: For example, if you're creating an app that
doesn't use Carousels, you can remove the carousel Javascript and CSS
with just two lines of code and make a new build. I hope to post a
blog/screencast showing this soon.

Hopefully that helps clear up some of the confusion and please let me
know if there are any other questions-

Best,
Dave
