Yes, as Peter mentioned, David Mark is quite the ranter. Why he is so vehemently against Sencha Touch, I don't know, but the fact remains: No other HTML5/CSS/JS framework provides as many robust application features and custom-tailored touch UI elements for iPhone/iPad/ Android. The closest thing I've seen is Sproutcore/Strobe, which is about twice the size of Sencha Touch and from what I've seen, pretty buggy.
