Hi there, I'm the developer guy. Since every company likes to distribute their apps through their own account I usually just deploy and distribute the application for them using their account. Quite simple and fast. There is an option to have developers linked to your account and set up a team etc. However, since many companies don't want to be involved in this process, it makes much more sense to just do everything on your own "for them".
