I have never, ever accidentally zoomed the screen so I expect
accidental zooming to be a very, very small risk. On the other hand, I
have visited many sites that prevent zooming, which I find extremely
annoying.

My point is not that there is never a case for preventing zooming
(though I can't think of one), only that the default page setup should
not do so and that it should only be done if you can be certain that
it will not be needed by anyone visiting the site.

If a framework doesn't support zooming (which I presume means that
it's UI is screwed when the screen zooms), that is a fatal flaw and I
would not use it.
