Doesn't work on my iPhone 4 neither. Beeing able to zoom in the contact list would just be useless to me... I discovered that you can actually scroll in an iframe on iPhone using two finger scrolling. Pretty handy sometimes, but I'm pretty sure less than 5% of iPhone users know that.
You can do it yes, but nobody does since it's not user friendly to do so. Same for zooming in a contact list, nobody would do it. Same logic applies for a webapp. Keep it simple, obvious, quick (apple doesn't need to provide a 80 pages paper guide w/ its phone cause everything is obvious, at non-optional capabilities cost here & there) Remi Grumeau (+33) 663 687 206 http://www.we-are-gurus.com Le 10 oct. 2010 à 13:40, RobG <[email protected]> a écrit : > > > On Oct 10, 9:05 am, Jorge Chamorro <[email protected]> wrote: >> Now (iOS 4) you can zoom into any app : settings / general /accesibility / >> zoom / on/off >> >> "to zoom double-tap with three fingers" > > Doesn't seem to be available on my iPhone 3G with iOS 4.1 (8b117). > > > -- > Rob > > -- > You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups > "iPhoneWebDev" group. > To post to this group, send email to [email protected]. > To unsubscribe from this group, send email to > [email protected]. > For more options, visit this group at > http://groups.google.com/group/iphonewebdev?hl=en. > -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "iPhoneWebDev" group.
