At some point, a release needs to be done or the project needs to be
scrapped. I see random discussions of .40, .50, and .60. But the fact
is, the last release was in October of 2009 on version .31. Technology
moves a bit faster than 2 year release cycles.

I completely understand this is a volunteer effort, but really, if a
release can't be made more than every 2 years, it's time to pull the
plug. I'm not even going to touch the roadmap here. Yes, the code is
available if you want to grab straight from the repository.

Know that I have appreciate the effort that you guys undertook. It
just might be time to figure out whether this project needs to be a
real project, with releases and all, or end of lifed.
