I'm using a Tyan Thunder K8SE (S2892) motherboard with a Tyan M3291 daughter
card. Operating system is Ubuntu 6, OpenIPMI modules are loaded and ipmitool
is working locally.
With ipmitool :
I have configurated the Lan setting : IP (static), MAC, Gateway.
I have configurated an admin user.
Now when i try to connect with ipmitool i get the following :
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ /usr/bin/ipmitool -I lan -U admin -H 10.100.250.222 -A
PASSWORD -a chassis power status
Password:
Activate Session error: Invalid data field in request
Error: Unable to establish LAN session
Unable to get Chassis Power Status
I have no idea what's wrong... Can somebody give me a hint ?
