Thanks for the tip.
I tried to install a newer version of ipmitool. Version 1.8.8.
I downloaded the rpm from the sourceforge page and then installed it doing : alien -i ipmitool.rpm
But now i get an error :
ipmitool: error while loading shared libraries: libcrypto.so.4: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Which libraries do I have to install ?

I remember I had the same problem long ago... an update to 1.8.6 did help IIRC
