Hi,I am using ipmitool on solaris 10 x86details of os : SunOS unknown 5.10 Generic_118855-14 i86pc i386 i86pcipmitool version 1.8.4When i run commands like:ipmitool chassis power diagbmc_send_cmd: Permission deniedUnable to set Chassis Power Control to Diagfor:ipmitool chassis bootdev diskI get the following errorsbmc_send_cmd: Permission denied
Error setting Chassis Boot Parameter 4
I have not used this interface in awhile, but the obvious question is whether you are running as root or a user? It may be possible to configure the bmc driver to allow non-root users to access the BMC but I don't think that is done by default on Solaris 10.
