-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 I see no reference to an ipmitool-user list anywhere; does such an animal roam free?
In case not, can someone help me understand the following? I made the default user on the default channel an operator, yet i cannot access ipmitool (breaking my monitor). I don't know how i had this working before or why it stopped. I had gotten this up and running, doing nothing special (i thought): i have an ext script in hobbit graphing CPU temp. It was able to "ipmitool sensor" and do some awkrobatics to get the Temp i wanted. Now it can no longer access the tool after the machine rebooted. - ----- currant:~# ipmitool user list 14 ID Name Callin Link Auth IPMI Msg Channel Priv Limit 1 true true true OPERATOR 2 rmunsch true true true ADMINISTRATOR 3 hobbit true true true OPERATOR currant:~# su hobbit [EMAIL PROTECTED]:/root$ ipmitool user list Could not open device at /dev/ipmi0 or /dev/ipmi/0 or /dev/ipmidev/0: No such file or directory Get User Access command failed (channel 14, user 1) - ----- - -- Rob Munsch Solutions For Progress IT www.solutionsforprogress.com -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.5 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFFSPMfBvBcJFK6xYURAjriAJ9AxJPhqIhXZrMABBO9tyi+jjNx7QCffAAI 3WY8uvfO7NL9wjI8ehFcVtM= =udKa -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Using Tomcat but need to do more?
