Hi Jarrod,

Thanks much for the reply and info.  :-)  It might be helpful to list
all known issues with the code currently in the CVS tree to help
Duncan/another maintainer catch up with where we are right now and
arrive at a stable 1.8.9 snapshot.

Does anyone else know of other issues with what's in the CVS tree right
now that should be backed out (temporarily at least) for a roll to
1.8.9?
