What OSes do you want to support for RPM packages?

I can build you a set for Centos 4.4 and FC3 if you'd like.

Hi Petter,

That's wonderful! Thank you, thank you!! :-D I'm sure the rest of us
can make the rpms for you to post over the next week or so. I will try
to make several of them asap.

Thanks again for your help, :-)

Carol

P.S. Could you also please update the ipmitool home page to list and
point to 1.8.9 as the current release? Thanks (yet) again.

Testing has been been completed (successfully ;-) by everyone
helping to
proof the code for the roll to 1.8.9 and all have given the code
currently in the cvs tree the go-ahead to become the next ipmitool
release! :-) Can you please roll the code to 1.8.9 now?
Done. The source tarballs are released, and CVS is tagged. I did
some minor fixes to the changelog, but that was about it.

I believe Duncan normally posted a src tarball along with rpms for
various distros. However, I know you're very busy so I was
wondering if it would make sense to post the src tarball first to
officially roll to 1.8.9 and make the release generally available
and then follow up with the rpms in the near future?
Yes. I do not have the setup to make RPMs.

I hope it is working, and if not, you all know what to do. :)

Friendly,
