Hi Arkadiusz,

I was working on building the SLES10 32- and 64-bit rpms to add to the
(excellent :-) collection of rpms some folks on the list have offered
to supply for v1.8.9 and noticed that the ./contrib stuff no longer
seems to get added to the rpm. I went back to look at the Makefile
and spec file patches you posted and noticed that it appears that your
patches intentionally bypass the contrib files for this release. I'm
sorry I didn't notice this before (although you clearly stated it in
the comments you sent with the patch) as there is a file in contrib
(oem_ibm_sel_map) that IBM requires.

Given the early-release/non-general-use nature often typical of
./contrib, I don't know what the best resolution is for this issue and
am hoping to start a discussion here. Do we want to put the contrib/*
files back in the rpms for future releases? Are there other files in
there that folks need to have in the rpms or is it only the
oem_ibm_sel_map file that's needed in which case we could probably
just move that file somewhere else?

Thanks,

Carol Hebert
