All,

I'm trying to get Serial-over-LAN working on my DL140 G3 and simply
can't get it to work. I can't seem to find any tools from HP that would
let me check it's set up properly in the first place but I think
everything is correct:

[EMAIL PROTECTED] ~ $ ipmitool -I lanplus -H ip-250 -U admin shell
Password:
ipmitool> channel info 2
Channel 0x2 info:
Channel Medium Type : 802.3 LAN

    Per-message Auth : enabled

ipmitool> sol info 2

Whenever I try to activate SOL, however, it complains:

[EMAIL PROTECTED] ~ $ ipmitool -I lanplus -H ip-250 -U admin sol activate
Password:
Info: cannot activate SOL payload with encryption

If it helps, it appears the iLO 100 is actually a ServerEngines
management chip:

dmesg:
input: ServerEngines SE USB Device as /class/input/input0
input: USB HID v1.11 Keyboard [ServerEngines SE USB Device] on

input: ServerEngines SE USB Device as /class/input/input1

lspci:
