Hi Massimo,
If you refer to table 20.2 in ipmi specification v2.0, it is mentioned that
user should not depend on response of the command.
Cold reset command resets the communication, event and sensor functions.
So could you check if sensor or communication has been reinitialized?
If yes, then it means , it works fine.
