Hello, I apologize in advance for posting a user question to the dev list but I couldn't find a user discussion for ipmitool.
Is there functionality in ipmitool that enables the remote installation of an OS a new machine? I know Apple and some of the other big vendors have proprietary solutions but I'm looking for a solution that will work on commodity hardware that supports IPMI 2.0. I'm hoping that ipmitool will help with this because I need to be able to script OS installation so that I can do this repeatedly without user intervention.
