Hey guys,
I did some more testing and found that while ipmitool reports a status of "ok"
whether both power supplies are working or not, it does report different
values. Here's what I mean.
Both power supplies are functioning:
localhost ~ # ipmitool sdr list | grep "PS Redundancy"
PS Redundancy | 0x01 | ok
One PS is unplugged:
TeSt ~ # ipmitool sdr list | grep "PS Redundancy"
PS Redundancy | 0x02 | ok
So, clearly 0x02 in this case means one of the supplies is bad. I don't think
it should report "ok".
