Lukasz, The Fan sensors on this ( >5 year old) system use a nolinear sampling. You have to issue a Get sensor reading and then a Get sensor reading Values (NetFn S/E Cmd 0x23) In order to get the correct/updated conversion formula parameters for this reading value. As far as I know, ipmitool does not support this out of the box, but it should be straight forward to implement(ipmi_sensor.c).
