Hi, I am trying to implement a feature in the "ipmievd" daemon so that all IPMI events can also be logged in to the servicelog utility. To accomplish this we need to link the ipmievd daemon with servicelog library also.
I am looking for your comments/suggestions to implement this feature in ipmievd daemon. I already have a very basic patch, which implements this feature to ipmievd. Servicelog overview: The servicelog packages provides a library for logging service-related events to the servicelog database, and a number of command-line utilities for viewing the contents of the database.
