I don't know whether it's worth fixing (and how hard that would be) but in the previous discussion about "sol" not working properly with SIMSO+ cards, "-vv" resulted in two "Decrypting..." messages glued together without a newline in between them. If that's a feature, it might make sense to separate them by a blank at least - if it's a bug it might have slipped through in the past. Certainly, it's not a show-stopper... In my understanding, it's in (at the very end of) lanplus_crypt_impl.c, and somewhat hidden since the two output lines appear to go to different target streams...
