I have attached a patch that corrects the generator id used when a command like 'ipmitool event 3' is issued in-band. Ipmitool tries to use 0x20 software id as the byte value, but per the IPMI table 5-4, 0x20 would have to be bit shifted and have 1 added to be correct in this context.
