    On Dells at least there are 2 COMs, and one just devotes a virtual
COM (COM2 is what we use) for IPMI SOL console redirection. The other
is used for the real hardware interface on the outside of the box.
    So the HP folks might need to create a virtual interface and
redirect it to another COM port.
