Hello,

I am trying to configure ipmi lan acces on my server. It is shipped with
the followin NIC:
05:00.0 Ethernet controller: Intel Corporation 80003ES2LAN Gigabit
Ethernet Controller (Copper) (rev 01)
05:00.1 Ethernet controller: Intel Corporation 80003ES2LAN Gigabit
Ethernet Controller (Copper) (rev 01)

I have a dualport additionnal NIC:
03:00.0 Ethernet controller: Intel Corporation 82571EB Gigabit Ethernet
Controller (rev 06)
03:00.1 Ethernet controller: Intel Corporation 82571EB Gigabit Ethernet
Controller (rev 06)

I can successfully get ipmi lan acces to work if I don't use 8021q
tagged traffic but if i setup vlan tagging i have no more access to ipmi
lan interface.

I have tried to setup the BMC with ipmitools to match vlan setup but to
no availE... here is the output of the command:

alxgomz@moeszislak:~$ sudo ipmitool -I open lan set 1 vlan id 100
alxgomz@moeszislak:~$ sudo ipmitool -I open lan print 1

I can't find anything related alxgomz@moeszislak:~$ sudoto the VLAN
ID... what does it mean? my nework cards do not supports Q tagging
(which of course works with userspace tools in Linux)? Is there a way to
enable this in BIOS (intel S5000VSA motherboard)?

Thanks.
