Raymundo,

That is a Linux panic, and the ipmi driver has logged the event, because
it is has a panic handler callback routine. Without this IPMI SEL
message, you would have noticed a reboot, but no other clues to indicate
that a panic had occurred. If the ipmi driver had been built with
CONFIG_IPMI_PANIC_STRING=y, then it would have also logged the panic
string.

Nevertheless, you will need to debug the Linux panic with kdump or
something similar.

Andy

Subject: [Ipmitool-devel] Help needed

Hi all,

Sorry to ask tis question here, i did several google searches
an couldn't find any answers.

I am seeing a problem with one customer they have a couple of
Intel SR2600 servers in a high availability configuration and
one after the other crashed, they run linux with vanilla kernel
2.6.31.2.

There are no syslog messages, and ipmitool show this line in
error log:
1f3 | 07/11/2012 | 21:37:47 | OS Stop/Shutdown #0x46 | Run-time critical
stop | Asserted

Can somebody provide pointers about this?

Thanks in advance

raymundo
