Note that if you dump the raw event (I'm not sure how with ipmitool), the 5th from last byte, second from last byte, and last byte are the first three bytes of the panic string. Who knows, it might lead you to the right place. I've actually found the cause of a kernel panic with that, the bytes were "MCE", and only one panic had that at the start of the string.
