I'm confused.
When you ship a new release that supports a link ids, site ids, etc
won't you also ship a getaddrinfo and getnameinfo which can handle those?

Thus I think the only concern should be for applications which
directly use if_nametoindex or if_indextoname for sin6_scope_id.
