any number of prefixes is probably okay as far as applications are concerned, PROVIDED that all prefixes are equally valid - i.e. any address is as good as any other, and applications aren't expected to pick the "right" prefix in order to be able to interoperate. If this condition does not hold, even two prefixes is too many.
