Okay, perhaps I was not very good about the wording, but my intention
was to make the discussion more concrete; it seems to me that the
discussion in this thread so far was too abstract (just saying
"applications", "servers" or "clients" are not so meaningful).  I
wanted to provide concrete examples based on real experiences.  I
fully understand that we cannot make a decision just because of
limited and personal experiences at this moment.
