I'm afraid I don't see the connection. two out of the three proposals
use link-local multicast for delegator discovery, so without some sort
of relaying mechanism the requesting router and the delegating router
has to be on the same link.

even with a relaying mechanism you have to consider who and how you
get a route for the prefix injected into the routing system.
