But nobody asked how many of that majority had any clue about actually
operating a network. The question was should we allow flexibility, and
completely ignored the confusion that will be caused trying to explain
to first line operators that on subnet A all addresses with the same IID
map to a single node, but on subnet B they don't. They are going to have
a hard enough time with multiple addresses per node, we should not be
making it more complex by allowing shared IIDs on a link.
