I agree and it was a personal attack and you should get an apology as
all your arguments have been technical challenges.  The remark was out
of line. 

Keith - the rule I use on that one is I confront them directly in person
at the IETF when they do that about their behavior.  And I find more are
much more bold in email than in person.
I am sure you will handle it much better than I would in person :---)
