There is absolutely no reason to restrict SL to disconnected sites. If someone wants to write an RFC on why they increase complexity for multi-party apps, fine. That does not mean we need to significantly change the architecture at the last minute, basically without serious review and commentary. If that happens, expect a process appeal.
