Pending GUPI addresses, it's hard to see how such nastiness can be
avoided with nodes that must occupy a site border (e.g. wireless hosts
that connect to more than one site). Not that a full implementation
needs to be mandated for all nodes, but the applicability of a simpler
implementation will necessaarily be limited to single-site contexts.
