If on the other hand, as Geoff states in his draft, and some people seem to be implying, that these addresses could be used as some sort of end point identifier outside of the routing system, then we do have a problem.
That quote was a quote from the Hinden/Haberman draft
"These addresses are also candidates for end-to-end use in some
classes of multihoming solutions."The point I was trying to make was that if this was a serious objective, then there
was a valid case to be made for assured uniqueness in these addresses rather than
assumed statistically likely uniqueness, and if so then I felt that this was not
appropriate to use local self-assigned prefixes.
