Hi,
I think that the DoS protection is very important problem for IKE
and it needs to be addressed. I have, though, mixed feelings about
the draft in its current form. The idea is very cute, but it has
IMHO a limited usage in protection against DoS attack.
It doesn't protect against DDoS performed by botnets
and may even make the situation worse for legitimate clients.
So, I think more research is needed, althouth this idea
should be kept in mind.
