The call for adoption has had mixed results. On the one hand, there is lots of interest in working on the problem. On the other, there is a fair amount of trepidation about whether making things significantly harder for botnets is attainable with the current state of botnets and puzzles is achievable; if it is not, maybe we shouldn't add another extensions that could make IKEv2 more fragile.
Given the interest, though, we will adopt this as a WG item.
