I'd settle for one right now.

The host name and the NAT gateway seem to be the problem for me. I'm
really close.

I figured out the deal on the 2 ports. It is like FTP active/passive.
We had this same problem too with WS_FTP server and a couple of client
proxies. Some firewalls will not work correctly if you open both ports
and the PASSIVE flag is set on the client. So normally the only port
that should be open is 5177 incoming and the flag set on the client
should handle the firewall. But on the one server we have we're we
use IPSEC you have to manually set both ports.

Actually the client that I'm having trouble with is behind a NATTED
firewall and the server is behind another NATTED firewall. That may
have something to do with it but that hardly seems uncommon.
