However, I'll try to answer you question.  I assume you mean port 443 which
is the standard HTTPS port.  If you change this you should not have any
adverse effects as long as you do not have another service running on that
port, like a web server.  In fact on a test machine I have a web server
running on port 80 with https disabled and Web Messaging running on port
443.  This makes it easy to connect to http://official.host.name for Web and
https://official.host.name for secure Web Messaging.
