Title: Message
Just as a follow-up to my previous posting.  I heard from another user this morning that was experiencing the same problem.  I contacted Ipswitch support, and was told that this was not a known issue.  Both of these users are set to login automatically, and although our domain account passwords expire regularly, neither user had recently changed their password.  In addition, Ipswitch IM was not reporting that the user had failed to authenticate, and WAS permitting them to see the online status of their personal contacts, and exchange messages.  Mysteriously, as of this writing, BOTH users can now see the Public Contacts in the normal manner.  Nothing had been changed on either the server or the client to affect this.  BTW - We are using 1.0 release version.

Subject: [IpswitchIM_Forum] User suddenly can't see Public Contacts

I have been using Ipswitch IM in a LAN environment successfully for many weeks now.  I am using it with my existing W2K Active Directory. Last week, we rolled out the product to our headquarters staff.  All is well, except that one individual is suddenly and inexplicably unable to view the public contacts.  I have seen this symptom after mucking around with the server settings (i.e. unselecting "Show External Authentication Database Users in Public Contacts", but this this option is in fact selected, and I haven't changed ANY settings on the server since well before the rollout.  Any ideas?
